Netflix dumps Qwikster, keeps DVD service on main website

Netflix has already scrapped plans for Qwikster. Less than a month after announcing their intent for a separate website for their DVD service, CEO Reed Hastings blogged, "It is clear that for many of our members two websites would make things more difficult, so we are going to keep Netflix as one place to go for streaming and DVDs." I know people are upset with Netflix; many of them have either canceled or threatened to cancel their services. I think two websites would have been too confusing for people and they probably would have lost more customers. Netflix is just trying to find a balance between rising costs and keeping clients happy.
